Taking its inspiration from the emergence of the #metoo movement, Well Behaved Women is a glorious ode to some of the most fierce and famous females throughout history. These stories of courage, strength and resilience are now memorialized at this new show at Cadogan Hall from September 3rd through a wide range of musical styles from jazz and rock to country.
With an all star cast that features Janie Dee, Hiba Elchikhe, Anna-Jane Casey, Gabriela García, Nicole Raquel Dennis, Linda John-Pierre, Kerry Ellis, Maisey Bawden, Gabriela García, Cassidy Janson, Rachael Wooding and Sophia Nomvete.
Have you ever stopped and wondered how the likes of Harriet Tubman, Frida Kahlo, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Maya Angelou would sound like if you heard them sing? Well-Behaved Women features a new collection of songs from Carmel Dean that will see all of these women – and more – brought brilliantly to life by some of the finest leading ladies in the West End and, through some powerful and very often hilarious songs, they will celebrate all of the ways in which their totally bad-ass behaviour has helped them make history.
