West End audiences will be able to revisit Eel Marsh House from September as performances of The Woman In Black are set to resume at the Fortune Theatre from 7th September, continuing its phenomenal run at the venue.
Susan Hill’s best-selling ghost story is the West End's second-longest-running play and tells the story of Arthur Kipps, a solicitor who hires an actor to dramatise his fears. At first, it seems innocent enough, but as time mov es on, sorting out papers eventually becomes more, and the lines between what is real and what is make-believe begin to blur.
Casting for the return of the show has yet to be announced, however, producers have announced that as well alongside its West End reopening, a nationwide tour of The Woman in Black is also to take place.
