The critically acclaimed production from the Chichester Festival Theatre of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic musical South Pacific now transfers to Sadlers Wells in London this summer for a strictly limited season.
The powerful World War II love story set on a South Pacific island is brought brilliantly to life on stage in an epic five-star production directed by Daniel Evans. A talented cast of over thirty actors features the leads from the Chichester Festival Theatre production, including Sera Maehara, Julian Ovenden, Gina Beck, Rob Houchen, and Joanna Ampil. The production features a full orchestra playing live and looks set to be the must-see theatrical event of 2022.
South Pacific boasts one of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most memorable musical scores and features songs such as "Bali Ha’i", "I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair".
