Following its successful UK tour this Autumn that has visited over 20 theatres across the country, and making his eagerly awaited return to the West End, Sir David Suchet will appear in POIROT AND MORE, A RETROSPECTIVE, which will enjoy a three-week residency at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 4th January 2022.
Taking a fond look back on David’s illustrious career, POIROT AND MORE, A RETROSPECTIVE will share some of his most beloved memories in a whole new and intimate light. The biographer, journalist, broadcaster, and co-author of Poirot and Me, Geoffrey Wansell will join David as the interviewer in what is an unmistakably unique live event. This is an opportunity to join in the conversation with the actor behind the famous detective along with the many other characters that David has portrayed both on screen and stage over a career that has so far spanned five decades.
For over a quarter of a century, Sir David captivated millions of viewers worldwide starring as Agatha Christie’s brilliant Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. David has also graced stages around the world bringing literary greats such as Shakespeare, Wilde and Albee to life, and has been celebrated for his portrayals of iconic roles such as Joe Keller, Lady Bracknell, Cardinal Benelli, and Gregory Solomon. David spent over a decade in the RSC and remains an Associate Artist. He is also an Emmy award winner, a seven-time Olivier Award Nominee and was knighted in 2020 for his services to charity and drama.
This is a unique opportunity to spend a fascinating evening with one of the world’s most celebrated actors and discover why he is internationally renowned for not only playing the role of Poirot, but also some of TV, movie and theatre’s most fascinating characters.
The show has evening performances on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 7.30pm. There are also matinee performances on Thursday & Saturday at 2.30pm.
