The Park Theatre was discovered by, and is the brainchild of Artistic Director Jez Bond, - who in 2009 took a disused office - realising its potential and transformed the space with a little help from David Hughes Architects - a first time theatre architect. Together, they embarked on a period of extensive research, which involved visiting over 35 theatres of all sizes across the UK, both large, to harness the inspiration and research while collecting the ingredients needed to create the perfect theatre space for the public. The Park Theatre is a two auditorium venue located within a new build property that incorporates both a 200 seat theatre (Park200), along with a smaller and more flexible 90 seat space (Park90). The complex is also complemented by The Morris Space for education and rehearsal purposes, along with a large gallery and café-bar.
