'Tasting Notes' To Open At Southwark Playhouse This Summer

Stars of Mischief Theatre Nancy Zamit and Niall Ransome are to star in a brand new London musical this summer as Tasting Notes is set to start previews at the Southwark Playhouse on July 27th, ahead of a scheduled opening night on July 29th, with performances due to run until August 27th.

The plot of Tasting Notes is set over the course of a 24 hour period in a wine bar, and follows the customers, waiters, and people visiting the local area.

The cast also features Mischief Theatre’s Nancy Zamit who has previously appeared in the popular West End comedies, 'The Play That Goes Wrong', 'Groan Ups' and 'Magic Goes Wrong'. Also starring in Tasting Notes will be Niall Ransome who has previously appeared in both 'Mischief Movie Night In' and 'The Comedy About a Bank Robbery'.

The cast of Tasting Notes also includes Charlie Ryall, Stephen Hoo, Sam Kipling, and Wendy Morgan.

Tasting Notes will feature an original book by Ryall, and lyrics and music by both Richard Baker and Ryall. The show will be directed by Shelley Williams and will feature  lighting design by Alex Musgrave and set design by Justin Williams.

Performances of Tasting Notes will begin at the Southwark Playhouse from July 27th.
