New personnel will be joining the cast of The Play That Goes Wrong from next month as the production continues its record-breaking run after becoming the longest production ever to play at the Duchess Theatre.
Elena Valentine and Oliver Clayton are to join The Play That Goes Wrong in the roles of 'Sandra' and 'Jonathan' respectively from November 9th, and on November 30th, Tom Bulpett is to take over the role of 'Chris', with Damien James also joining the cast.
The cast is completed by Ciara Morris as Annie, Michael Keane as Dennis, Blayar Benn as Trevor, David Kirkbride as Robert, Jack Michael Stacey as Max, Euan Bennet, Rosemarie Akwafo, Sally Cheng and Colin Burnicle.
The Play That Goes Wrong was the debut production from Mischief Theatre, and follows the hapless fortunes of an amateur dramatics society as they attempt to stage a murder mystery. It becomes a very tricky task to get the production to 'curtain up' though, as actors, props, and parts of the set all go missing and pretty much everything that can possibly go wrong.......does. The Play That Goes Wrong is an Olivier Award-winning play and has been showcasing at the Duchess Theatre since 2014.
In addition to The Play That Goes Wrong, Mischief Theatre's other production, Magic Goes Wrong is now playing at the Apollo Theatre until February 2022 before making way for the West End revival of the play, Jerusalem.
Performances of The Play That Goes Wrong continue at the Duchess Theatre with tickets on sale now.
