The famous Agatha Christie courtroom drama Witness For The Prosecution is set to continue as an extended booking period at London County Hall has been confirmed which will see performances running until at least April 16th. 2023. Tickets to Witness for the Prosecution are currently on sale both online and through the box office.
Agatha Christie's play Witness for the Prosecution follows a man named Leonard Vole who is standing trial accused of murder. During the trial, Vole testifies and attempts to convince the jury of his innocence, but when his wife steps up to take the stand, the entire case takes an unexpected and dramatic turn as rather than defend her husband, she becomes a witness for the prosecution.
The cast of Witness for the Prosecution features Joshua Glenister in the role of Leonard Vole, James Hayes as Mr Justice Wainwright, Lauren O’Neil as Romaine, Peter Landi as Mr Mayhew, Owen Oakeshott as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, and Richard Teverson as Mr Myers QC.
The remainder of the cast is made up of Donnavan Yates, James Alper, Mandi Symonds, Andrew Hollingworth, Lily Blunsom-Washbrook, Vicki Davids, Jonathan Brenner, Simon Butteriss, William Donaldson, Nick Hardie, Naomi Taylor, and Matt Weyland.
Witness for the Prosecution is directed by Lucy Bailey and features sound design by Mic Pool, designs by William Dudley, lighting design by Chris Davey.
Performances of Witness for the Prosecution will continue at London County Hall until April 16th 2023.
