Prior to previews beginning at the Park Theatre on November 11th, the full cast for the London premiere of Little Women has finally been revealed. Little Women will begin previews performances at the Park Theatre on November 11th, with its opening night being held on November 17th and performances due to run until December 19th.
Little Women is based on the 19th century novel by Louisa May Alcott of the same name, and follows the four March sisters: Meg, Jo, Amy, and Beth during Civil War America. The musical production features a book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland.
Taking on the roles of the four sisters will be Hana Ichijo as Meg, Lydia White as Jo, Mary Moore as Amy, and Anastasia Martin as Beth. The role of Professor Bhaer will be played by Ryan Bennett, with Sev Keoshgerian as Laurie, Bernadine Pritchett as Aunt March, Lejaun Sheppard as John Brooke, Savannah Stevenson as Marmee and Brian Protheroe as Mr Lawrence. The talented company is completed by Liv Andrusier.
The London production of Little Women will be directed by Bronagh Logan, with choreography by Sarah Golding, sound design by Paul Gavin, scenic and costume design by Nik Corrall, and lighting design by Ben M Rogers.
Little Women was first produced in 2005 on Broadway and starred Sutton Foster in the role as Jo. The musical subsequently received its UK premiere at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester in 2017.
Performances of Little Women will play at the Park Theatre from November 11th- December 19th.
