'Life Of Pi' Announces Extended West End Booking Period

An extended booking period has been announced for Life Of Pi at the Wyndham's Theatre. The multi-Olivier-winning play will continue its run in the West End and play up until at least October 30th. Tickets to Life of Pi are on sale now both online and through the box office.

Earlier this year, Life of Pi won five Olivier Awards, including 'Best Actor', 'Best New Play', and Best Actor in a Supporting Role'.

Life Of Pi is based on the award-winning novel of the same name by Yann Martel, and follows the focusses on a sixteen-year-old boy as he recalls the tragic events of being the sole human survivor on a shipwreck and describes how he made his painstaking way back to shore accompanied by a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan and a huge Royal Bengal tiger.

The cast of Life of Pi features Hiran Abeysekera in the role of Pi, David K.S. Tse as Mr Okamoto, Nicholas Khan as Father, Mina Anwar as Ma, Kirsten Foster as Lulu Chen, Tom Espiner as Father Martin and Commander Grant-Jones, Payal Mistry as Rani, Raj Ghatak as Mamaji and Pandit-Ji, Syreeta Kumar as Mrs Biology Kumar and Zaida Khan, Habib Nasib Nader as both Cook and the Voice of Tiger.

The wider creative cast also includes seven talented puppeteers who operate the tiger are Fred Davis, Daisy Franks, Romina Hytten, Tom Larkin, Tom Stacy and Scarlet Wilderink.

Life Of Pi is directed by Max Webster and features set and costume design by Tim Hatley, sound design by Carolyn Downing, puppet movement and design by Nick Barnes and Finn Caldwell, and lighting design by Tim Lutkin.

Performances of Life of Pi will continue at the Wyndham’s Theatre until at least October 30th 2022.
