'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' Announces West End Extension

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is to carry on making mischief at the Palace Theatre as a new booking period has been announced with performances now scheduled to run until at least May 28th, 2023.  Tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are available to book now either online or through the box office.

The play is set 19 years after Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley graduated from Hogwarts, with the magical trio returning to the school of wizardry and witchcraft. Harry now has a family and works at the Ministry of Magic, while his son must struggle to come to terms with his family legacy.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has now become the most awarded new play in West End history and features a stellar cast that features over 40 talented actors including Jamie Ballard in the role of Harry Potter. He is joined by Michelle Gayle as Hermione Granger, Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley, Dominic Short as Albus Potter, James Howard as Draco Malfoy, Luke Sumner as Scorpius Malfoy, Susie Trayling as Ginny Potter, and Phoenix Edwards as Rose Granger-Weasley. 

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has an original book by Jack Thorne and is based on ideas by Thorne, John Tiffany and J. K. Rowling. The play is directed by Tiffany, and features illusions and magic by Jamie Harrisonwith, costume design by Katrina Lindsay, lighting design by Neil Austin, scenic by Christine Jones, movement by Steven Hoggett, and sound design by Gareth Fry.

Performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will continue at the Palace Theatre until May 28th, 2023.
