Further Casting Announced For The Southbury Child At The Bridge Theatre.

Further casting has been announced prior to the forthcoming world premiere of Stephen Beresford’s play, The Southbury Child which will begin performances at the Bridge Theatre on July 1st and run until August 27th.  Tickets to The Southbury Child already on sale securely online.

The plot of The Southbury Child centres on parish vicar, David Highland, who is struggling to keep a grip on his parish and finds himself completely isolated from popular public opinion. For David to be accepted again and get on everyone’s good side in the town once more, he must stand tall and fight for what he stands for.

Alex Jennings takes on the lead role of David Highland in The Southbury Child. He is joined in the production by Holly Atkins as Joy Sampson, Sarah Twomey as Tina Soutbury, Josh Finan as Lee Southbury, Jack Greenlees as Craig Connor, Phoebe Nicholls as Mary Highland, Jo Herbert as Susannah Highland, and Racheal Ofori as Naomi Highland, with the rest of the cast set to be announced in due course.

The Southbury Child is Nicholas Hytner and features a creative team including sound design by George Dennis, set design by Mark Thompson, costume design by Yvonne Milnes, and lighting design by Max Narula.

Performances of The Southbury Child will begin at the Bridge Theatre on July 1st 2022.
