Ahead of its much anticipated reopening in November, the full cast for the popular and controversial musical The Book of Mormon in London has finally been announced. Performances of The Book of Mormon will resume at the Prince Of Wales Theatre from November 15th, with tickets now on sale online.
The leading cast for the show is to remain the same as when the production was forced to close in March 2020 due to the pandemic with Dom Simpson playing the part of Elder Price, Tom Xander as Elder Cunningham, and Leanne Robinson in the role of Nabulungi.
The full company cast for the London production is completed by Christopher Copeland, Thomas Audibert. Steven Webb, Georgia Iudica-Davies, Anna Van Ruiten, Stephen Rolley, Oliver Jacobson, Ryan Kopel, Haydn Oakley Edward Baruwa, Richard Lloyd-King, Philip Catchpole, Joseph Davenport, Tanya Edwards, Paige Miller, George Grayson, Myles Hart, Olivia Hibbert, Jed Hoyle, M-Jae Cleopatra Isaac, Akmed Junior Khemalai, David McMullan, Jack McNeill, Sean Parkins, Kirk Patterson, Rebecca-Daisy Wellington, Luke Redmore, Fred Smiley, Patrick Sullivan, and Ben Tyler.
The Book Of Mormon was brought to the stage by South Park's Matt Stone and Trey Parker, with Robert Lopez, and follows the fortunes of two Mormon boys following their graduation where the pair are sent on a mission to 'spread the word' from Salt Lake City to Uganda.
The Book of Mormon first opened in 2011 on Broadway and transferred over the pond into the West End at the Prince Of Wales Theatre in 2013. The show is directed by both Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker, featuring choreography by Nicholaw, costume design by Ann Roth, set design by Scott Pask, sound design by Brian Ronan, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt
Prior to the reopening of the show, The Prince of Wales Theatre will remain the venue for The Windsors: Endgame, which will play its final performance on October 9th.
