Producers have announced the lineup of the new cast for Matilda the Musical ahead of resuming performances of the show at the Cambridge Theatre from September 16th, 2021. Tickets are already on sale for family favourite Matilda the Musical which will celebrate 10 years in the West End later this year
Sharing the title role of Matilda will be Alex Munden, Imogen Cole, Alyssa D'Souza, and Zoe Simon with Elliot Harper returning to play the role of Miss Trunchbull and Carly Thoms taking the role of Miss Honey after previously playing the role in the national tour of the show.
The roles of Mr & Mrs Wormwood will now be played by Sebastien Torkia and Annette McLaughlin respectively and the cast of the adult company is completed by Matt Krzan as Rudolpho, Landi Oshinowo as Mrs Phelps, Connor Lewis as Michael Wormwood, Georgia Carling, Liberty Buckland, Roger Dipper, Kate Kenrick, Katrina Dix, James Revell, Ben Kerr, Tom Mather, Gemma Scholes, Bryan Mottram, ane Oliver Parry,K Ryan Pidgen, and Dawn Williams.
Matilda's children’s cast is now completed by Thommy Bailey Vine, Hari Aggarwal, Kieron Bell, Tom Bonomini, Sienna Clarke, Drew Edwards, Robyn Elwell, Kaspar Cahill-Ritter, Rory Finnegan, Beth Gilmour, Jayden Seder, Louie Gray, Rosie Gell-Marquez, Gracie Hodson-Prior, Darcy Kelly, Ben Lee, Nicholas Parris, Keanna-Skye O'Quinn, Bella Perdoni, Chancé Quaye, Niamh Ritchie, Scarlett Jayne Rackham, Bren Reilly, Jacob Savva, and Alex Stockton.
The show which is based on the much loved Roald Dahl novel follows the fortunes of titular child Matilda, as she attempts to save the day at her school, by using her special powers for good. The multi award-winning musical will celebrate 10 years in London on 25th October was written by Dennis Kelly and features lyrics and music by Tim Minchin.
