Full casting for Jonathan Spector's satire, Eureka Day which will showcase at the Old Vic this autumn has now been announced. Eureka Day will begin previews at the venue on September 6th, with an opening night scheduled for September 23rd and performances due to run until October 31st. Tickets to Eureka Day are currently available to book both online and at the box office.
Jonathan Spector's hilarious play explores the role of vaccinations within American society. Set in the pre-pandemic world of 2017 in Berkeley, California, Eureka Day charts five school board members as they update their policies. An outbreak of mumps at the same time threatens the local community which leaves board members arguing over which course of action to take.
Academy Award-winner Helen Hunt leads the cast in the role of Suzanne in Eureka Day alongside Mark McKinney as Don, Kirsten Foster as May, Ben Schnetzer as Eli, and Susan Kelechi Waston as Carina.
The production will be directed by Katy Rudd and features sound design by Andrzej Goulding, set and costume design by Rob Howell, and lighting design by Donato Wharton.
Performances of Eureka Day will be at the Old Vic.
