The full casting for the world premiere at the Gillian Lynne Theatre of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's new musical, Cinderella has been announced today. Performances will begin at the Gillian Lynne Theatre on June 25th and tickets to the show are now on sale.
Taking on the role of the Queen will be Rebecca Trehearn, who recently starred in City of Angels at the Garrick Theatre, and the stepsisters will be played by Laura Baldwin and Georgina Castle, Gloria Onitiri will star as the Fairy Godmother.
The role of Dorian goes to Sam Robinson, Giovanni Spano plays Gawain and Vinny Coyle is to portray Arthur. The alternate Cinderella will be Georgina Onourah.
The ensemble company is completed by Michelle Bishop, Michael Afemaré, Jonathan David Dudley, Lydia Bannister, William Bozier, Lauren Byrne, Tobias Charles, Nicole Deon, Sophie Camble, Dominic Adam Griffin, Michael Hamway, James Lee Harris, Leah Harris, Andy Rees, Kate Ivory Jordan, Kelsie-Rae Marshall, Alexandra Waite Roberts, Lauren Stroud, Matthieu Vinetot and Georgia Tapp
They will all join the previously announced cast members, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Cinderella, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as the Stepmother, and Ivano Turco who makes his West End debut as Prince Sebastian.
Cinderella will feature both original music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and a book by Emerald Fennell who won an Oscar for best original screenplay for 'Promising Young Woman'.
