The returning cast for Wicked The Musical has finally been named, ahead of performances the show resuming later this month from September 15th at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Wicked tickets are now on sale.
Returning to the role of Glinda will be Sophie Evans, who appeared previously between 2017 - 2019, opposite Alice Fearn who played Elphaba.
All of the other lead roles will resume as they were prior to the shutdown of all West End theatres in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic with Laura Pick in the role of Elphaba, Alistair Brammer as Fiyero, Andy Hockley as The Wizard, Simeon Truby as Doctor Dillamond, Kim Ismay as Madame Morrible, Nicholas McLean as Boq, and Carina Gillespie as Nessarose. Charli Baptie and Amy Webb take the roles as the Glinda and Elphaba standbys respectively.

Wicked is set as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, and imagines the life of Elphaba, exploring how she earned her infamous title of 'Wicked Witch of the West'. Lyrics and music for Wicked are provided by Stephen Schwartz, with popular songs that include “No Good Deed.” and “Dancing Through Life”
The London production of Wicked celebrates its 15th anniversary on September 28th, and to date, has been seen by over 10 million people, and is currently the fifth longest-running musical ever to appear in the West End.
