Full casting for Tim Price’s new stage adaptation of Force Majeure has been now been named with Rory Kinnear taking the lead role prior to its run at the Donmar Warehouse which will take place from December 10th to February 5th.
The plot of Force Majeure follows Ebba and Tomas who are taking their family on a skiing trip to the Alps. Disaster strikes during the trip though, and the strength of their family is severely tested. Force Majeure is based on the award-winning comedy by Ruben Östlund, which was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film and premiered at Cannes Film Festival.
Force Majeure sees Rory Kinnear takes on the role of Tomas. He is joined in the cast by Lyndsey Marshall as Ebba, and Nathalie Armin who plays Charlotte. Other notable members of the cast include Siena Kelly in the role of Jenny, Sule Rimi as Mats, Holly Cattle, Raffaelo Degruttola, Arthur Wilson, Kwami Oddom. Bo Bragason and Florence Hunt will share the role of Vera, and Oliver Savell and Henry Hunt will share the role of Harry.
Force Majeure will be directed by Michael Longhurst at the Donmar Warehouse, with movement by Sasha Milavic Davies, lighting design by Lucy Carter, sound design by Donato Wharton, and design by Jon Bausor.
Performances of Force Majeure will be at the Donmar Warehouse from December 10th.
