Following its muted celebration of its tenth anniversary in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has now been announced that Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is to return this autumn at the Radisson Blu Edwardian from September 2nd with tickets available online and on sale now.
The hilarious dining experience is based on the famous 1970s sitcom Fawlty Towers, which was set at a small privately-owned fictional hotel in Torquay. The audience are served up a 1970s inspired 3-course meal by Basil, Sybil, and Manuel with a large side dish of hilarity in the form of improvised theatre. With a cast of ten people including Jack Baldwin, Stanley Eldridge, and Dave Tremaine who alternate in the role of Basil, along with Kat Mary, Karina Garnett, Nerine Skinner, and Rebecca Norris in the role of Sybil and Oliver Ford, Tony Clegg and Leigh Kelly alternating as the hapless waiter Manuel.
Faulty Towers The Dining Experience did briefly return in a socially distanced format in October 2020 but was forced to close again just two months later due to last year's December lockdown. All upcoming shows from September however will revert to the original format.
Performances of Faulty Towers The Dining Experience will resume at the Radisson Blu Edwardian from September 2nd.
