The much-anticipated opening of Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical in London finally takes place at the Arts Theatre in the of spring 2022.
During the height of the Great Depression, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow captured the imagination of the public as the couple went from being just another two small-town nobodies in West Texas to America's most infamous and renowned folk heroes. Shameless, fearless, and alluring, the story of Bonnie & Clyde is an electrifying tale of love, crime, and adventure that captured the entire nation's attention. The new show features songs including “Made In America”, “Raise A Little Hell”, and “This World Will Remember Me”.
When Bonnie and Clyde first met, their mutual cravings for fame and excitement, came together to combine with an ultimate need to elevate themselves out of both the banality and poverty of West Dallas, which set them on a focused mission to follow their dreams. Exercising both bold and reckless behaviour, the young lovers' thrilling and fast-paced adventure eventually turned into a downward spiral, that put themselves and everyone around them in trouble with the law. Forced to go on the run, the two lovers are forced to resort to a campaign of murder and robbery to survive, but as their fame grew bigger, their inevitable demise drew ever closer.......
