The Phantom Of The Opera At The Coliseum Tickets London

The London Coliseum hosts the world Premiere of Roy Budd’s masterpiece score to the 1925 classic silent film The Phantom Of The Opera in a one off event on October 8th 2017.

For the first time ever, the iconic silent movie will be shown with the magical musical score by legendary composer and musician Roy Budd. This is an event not to be missed and is performed by the Docklands Sinfonia, and conducted by Spencer Down. It is a grand soundtrack for a full orchestra with several different musical themes and leitmotifs that pay full tribute to the great composers of both the concert hall and big screen.

Budd passed away tragically and unexpectedly in 1993 at just 46 years old, and five weeks shy of the original premiere which never eventuated due to his untimely passing. Now 24 years later we are very proud to finally stage the world Premiere of his greatest masterpiece.
