Satyagraha Tickets London

The London Coliseum presents Satyagraha - composer Philip Glass’s meditation on Gandhi’s early life in South Africa, which traces the progress of the conception of his vision of non-violent protest as a powerful and positive force for change.

Phelim McDermott’s highly acclaimed, spectacularly theatrical production was first brought to the stage in 2007 and is a visual feast using repetitive musical structures – ‘minimalism’– that creates a mesmerising soundscape, unlike traditional operas with British tenor Toby Spence singing Gandhi for the first time, joined by soprano Charlotte Beament
