One for the Road / New World Order / Mountain Language / Ashes to Ashes Tickets London

A dynamic ensemble of Harold Pinter’s most dangerous and potent political plays kicks off the eagerly awaited and exciting 'Pinter at the Pinter' season this autumn from September 6th - October 20th directed by long-time Pinter collaborator and award winning actress, Lia Williams

One for The Road is an incendiary tale showing Pinter at his most terrifying as a ruthless government official begins to interrogate a dissident and his family, but as time goes on. could it be that the torturer is actually more tortured than his victims?

The New World Order probes and delves into how the acute abuse of power can be legitimised in the name of democracy and freedom, as a team of brutal interrogators prepare to submit a blind-folded insurgent to a terrible punishment.

The suppression of new ideas and the threat of non-conformity take centre stage in Mountain Language as a group of captives try to make themselves heard when the state bans their common language.

The evening is rounded off with the atmospheric play Ashes to Ashes, in which the nightmare of terrifying human atrocity infiltrates a couple’s home.
