Julius Caesar

Julius Caesar Tickets London

Angus Jackson directs Julius Caesar as part of the Roman season of Shakespeare plays at the Barbican.  The thrilling tale of political tragedy, as the race to claim the empire spirals hopelessly out of control defines all of the political backstabbing, with spin and betrayal eventually turning into violence.

Caesar returns from war as an all-conquering hero.  But whispers of mutiny are beginning to rumble through the great corridors of power. Even though Brutus loves Caesar, he is persuaded to kill him as part of 'the greater good', but like all conspirators he forgets that actions can have grave consequences.

Starring Andrew Woodall in the title role opposite Alex Waldmann as Brutus with Martin Hutson taking the role of Cassius.
