Bernstein Centenary Tickets London

Celebrating the centenary of the birth of Leonard Bernstein, The Royal Ballet  will perform a special Bernstein programme from March 15th - April 9th at The Royal Opera House from the Company’s three associate choreographers, Wayne McGregor, Liam Scarlett and Christopher Wheeldon.

Leonard Bernstein was one of the first American classical composers to achieve both popular and critical acclaim. He drew his inspiration from a mixture of jazz, modernism, the traditions of Jewish music and musicals on Broadway. He association with Jerome Robbins, brought considerable commercial success with their credits together including both Fancy Free and West Side Story. To celebrate the centenary of the composer’s birth, The Royal Ballet has now united all three of its associate choreographers to produce a celebration the versatile and dynamic range of Bernstein’s music.
