Hear'Say Singer Joins We Will Rock You

Noel Sullivan, the former Hear'Say singer is to join the cast of the London production of hit musical We Will Rock You next month at the Dominion Theatre, in the role of Galileo replacing Alex Gaumond.

The singer, who rose to fame in TV talent show Pop Stars back in 2001, has already played the role on more than 300 occasions with the UK tour of the popular show based on the music of rock supergroup Queen, but will take to the stage of the Dominion Theatre for the first time when he steps into Gaumond's shoes on February 20th.

Though his first taste of stardom came as part of a manufactured pop band alongside Kim Marsh and Myleene Klass, Sullivan has since built a musical theatre career for himself, performing in productions including Flashdance, Fame and Grease.

Sullivan joins a cast including Over The Rainbow runner-up Lauren Samuels, former X Factor contestant Brenda Edwards, Kevin Kennedy, Alasdair Harvey and Wayne Robinson and will stay with the production until October, leading it through its 10th birthday on 14th May and the Olympic period in July and August during which, the show has confirmed that it will perform to its normal schedule.

We Will Rock You, which tells the story of a futuristic world where rock music is banned is set to a score by British rock band Queen, and has now been seen by nearly six million people at the Dominion theatre and more than 13 million worldwide.
